Gratitude

My gratitude is overflowing for Dr. Scott Kaufman’s five book reviews he did for you last week. Scott serves with us as our Director of Healthcare Ministries. He has not only a Pharmacy degree as well as a degree in nursing, but also holds a theological degree. I can assure you, Dr. Kaufman is a prolific reader and writer. This is why I asked him to review some books for us.

If you missed any of the reviews from last week, please go back to review them. He is really sharing with us some wonderful evaluations and observations about these books. My gratitude is overwhelming to Scott for doing this for us.

Jeana and I spent several days on the Emerald Coast of Florida. While I was away, getting some very much needed rest and relaxation, the Lord spoke to me about several things. One of those, I believe at this point, is an entire sermon series for the fall. Additionally, I was able to read at least two books and am on my way to finishing a third one.

My heart overflows with gratitude to God and to our church for extending me the privilege of time away. I have run very hard since the middle of July, being in church weekly (with exception of having a group of 79 people in Israel over one Sunday), therefore, the rest was long overdue. I usually do not wait that long, but just could not address that need due to many matters.

I am truly grateful.

Walk with a grateful heart today.
