A Significant Night

Last night was a significant event in the life of our church. We had our annual banquet for the widows in our church. It is an evening of honor and recognition. Added blessings were experienced by each of us as we witnessed and heard four young women, blessing their grandmothers. Our speaker was excellent and Kim Noblitt’s song was outstanding. Charlie Foster and his team of staff and volunteers did an excellent job.

Charlie Foster and Kathy Ferguson lead our Widows Ministry at both of our campuses. What an honor they have to lead our church to love, care for, and provide ministry to these special people. I am grateful for each of them and their ministries among us. May our church rise up and be The Church regarding ministry to widows and orphans.

I hope you have enjoyed the dialogue provided for you of our recent trip to Israel. It was a very special time as 79 of us journeyed for those days to walk where Jesus walked. It was a spiritual and blessed experience.

You must go with us in the future. Within the next 12-24 months, I will take another group with us. We will weigh the events going on in the world and will see what God provides for us in calendar opportunities.

Easter weekend was fabulous. We had six service opportunities. Each of those was filled with fabulous worship music written and provided by both of our gifted worship leaders, Josh Stanbery and Kim Noblitt. We are blessed!

Thank God today for His mighty blessings!
