What A Weekend!

Categories:Between Sundays

What a weekend – full of football and food! For a guy like me, that is hard to beat. In our annual tradition since Josh has become a Head Coach here, whenever we are in the playoffs over Thanksgiving weekend, we have the coaches and their families over to our home. Since we played at home on Friday night, we did not have all of them like normal, but we had a great time with those who were with us. Jeana made a deluxe Thanksgiving lunch!

Our applause to the Springdale Har-Ber Wildcats and the Fayetteville Bulldogs for a great season. They played each other twice this year, with Har-Ber winning the first one, but Fayetteville won the State Championship game. We have players, coaches, and fans from both schools in our church. We congratulate them all for a great season and “hats off” to Fayetteville.

Our Shiloh Saints move to the State Semi-final round this Friday night in a BIG game at 7:30 p.m. here in our stadium. We would love to have you attend because we will need all the help we can get to win this one. Hopefully, the weather will not be 30 degrees like last Friday night. Think about coming. It is a great social event with some great football.

The Hogs won a big one on Friday . . . one of those games that will go down in history. In the 3rd overtime, a defensive stop moved the Arkansas Razorbacks to an 8-4 season, defeating the #1 team in the country.

Well, I could go on and on as you know. I am sure you have had enough football, so just go back to work today and gave a good day.

Enjoy your day.
